Shaping the skills, training and pathways needed for productive, just and future-ready societies, aligned with regional and national green-growth priorities.

Our interdisciplinary research will strengthen connections across sectors and help create a skills ecosystem in which every job contributes to a sustainable, high-quality employment landscape. This work will contribute to a regional and national shift towards inclusive green growth, ensuring people are equipped to participate fully in a low-carbon future. Important aspects of this Mission include:

• A diverse workforce delivering local, regional and national green‑growth priorities. 

• Greater practical capacity, technical & soft skills, and knowledge for the green transformation.  

• Upskilled and more informed leadership, management and policy decision makers.  

• Inclusive access to green jobs to enable a successful just transition.  

• Stronger community‑led climate action to shape place‑based sustainability priorities.
